Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Two Women in Northside

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1st, claiming the lives of two women.

The victims, aged 39 and 22, have yet to be officially identified pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to reports, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 133 East 37th St in Northside and discovered the victims with gunshot wounds. Paramedics, upon arrival, pronounced them deceased at the scene.

Initial investigations and evidence suggest that an unidentified suspect approached the residence, discharged multiple gunshots, and subsequently fled the scene on foot. The suspect’s face was reportedly concealed during the incident.
