Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Eastex-Jensen Area

Police are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, December 7, at approximately 8:40 p.m. The incident took place at 3721 Hage Street, near Highway 69 in Eastex-Jensen Area.

Officers responded to a robbery call at the residence and discovered an unresponsive 45-year-old man inside the home. The victim, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Detectives are actively working on the case and have learned that a bright blue Chevy Silverado pickup truck was seen fleeing the residence after the shots were heard.
