Houston Police Await Autopsy Results for Male Found Deceased at the Extended Stay America Motel

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results following the discovery of a deceased male at the Extended Stay America Motel located at 2424 West Sam Houston Parkway South around 3:55 a.m. on March 29, 2024.

The identity and cause of death of the male are currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Police responded to a call for assistance from Houston Fire Department paramedics in the parking lot of a motel at the mentioned address. Paramedics rendered medical aid to an unresponsive male and subsequently transported him to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors later pronounced him deceased.

Authorities suspect the male may have been assaulted.

The investigation remains ongoing pending the results of the male’s autopsy to determine the cause of death.
