Houston Murder Suspect Named October Featured Fugitive by DPS, Reward Increased to $6,000

Ernest Christopher Nathan, 45, a fugitive on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list, has been named this month’s Featured Fugitive. Authorities are offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to his arrest if a tip is received during October.

Nathan, a Houston resident, has been wanted since February 2024 in Harris County for murder. His criminal record stretches back to 2006 in Georgia, where he faced convictions for aggravated assault, battery, and bail jumping. In October 2022, Nathan was arrested by Houston Police for murder and evading arrest with a vehicle but was released on bond the next day.

Nathan is described as 6 feet tall, weighing around 200 pounds, and has tattoos on both arms and his back. He is known to have connections not only in Houston but also in Georgia, Ohio, and Louisiana.
