Houston Motorcyclist Dies After Hit-and-Run Crash on South Loop West
A 37-year-old man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash that occurred on December 3 at around 10 a.m. The incident took place at 1700 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West).
The victim, whose identity is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was riding a maroon Honda GL1200 motorcycle westbound at the specified address. The collision occurred when an unidentified gray Toyota changed lanes, striking the motorcycle. The driver of the Toyota failed to stop and provide assistance, fleeing the scene immediately.
Emergency medical services rushed to the location and transported the critically injured victim to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, medical professionals pronounced him deceased on Sunday, December 10.
