Houston Man Charged With Murder in Fatal Stabbing of Brother in Downtown Parking Garage

HOUSTON, Texas – A Houston man has been arrested and charged in the fatal stabbing of his brother, whose body was discovered inside a vehicle in a downtown parking garage earlier this month.
According to the Houston Police Department, 46-year-old Damen Jerome Lee has been charged with murder in the 185th Criminal District Court.
Investigators said Lee is accused in the death of his 53-year-old brother, Henry Lee.
Police responded around 3:30 p.m. on May 17 to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 2000 Crawford Street. Officers located the vehicle inside a parking garage and discovered a man in the backseat suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
During the investigation, detectives identified an unknown male as a person of interest and released his photograph to the public on May 19.
Authorities later located and detained the individual, who was identified as Damen Jerome Lee. Following an interview with detectives and consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Lee was formally charged and arrested in connection with his brother’s death.
