Hit-and-Run Suspect Apprehended After Crash Chaos on Louetta Road in Spring

On February 23, 2024, authorities from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 7300 block of Louetta Road in Spring, TX.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that the driver responsible for the accident had collided with several vehicles before fleeing the scene on foot.

During the escape, the individual encountered oncoming traffic and leaped onto the hood of a vehicle, causing damage. Constable Deputies successfully located and apprehended the suspect, who was identified as 30-year-old Obadiah Peoples.

Peoples was arrested and taken to the Harris County Jail. He faces charges of Failure to Stop and Give Information, as well as Criminal Mischief. The total bond for his release was set at $2,000.00 by County Court 4.
