Harris County Deputy Constable Injured in Rollover Crash During Early Morning Traffic Stop

A Harris County Pct. 2 deputy constable sustained injuries in a rollover crash during an early Sunday morning traffic stop, as reported by the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Beamer Road, in close proximity to the Sam Houston Tollway and the Gulf Freeway.

According to authorities, the deputy constable was in the process of pulling over a vehicle when another car collided with his patrol vehicle, causing it to overturn. Emergency responders from the Houston Fire Department successfully extricated the deputy from the overturned patrol car, and he was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for injuries to the neck and back, along with potential fractures.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is reported to be in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing as investigators try to determine fault in the collision.
