Harris County Constable Deputies Arrest Woman for False Reporting in Hit-and-Run Case

On January 7, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office were dispatched to the 20800 block of Dappled Ridge Way in Humble following a hit-and-run crash.

During the investigation, 21-year-old Amari Kristani Mann presented herself and falsely claimed responsibility for the incident. However, video surveillance revealed a male suspect leaving the vehicle and leaving the scene.

Amari Kristani Mann was subsequently arrested and charged with False Report To A Peace Officer, and she was booked into the Harris County Jail.
