15-Year-Old Runaway Recovered by Deputies After Stealing Mother’s Vehicle

On January 7, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a report at an apartment complex in the 21100 block of Gosling Road in Spring, TX (Savannah Oaks Apartments). The call concerned a 15-year-old female who had run away from home. Deputies quickly located the teenager.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the juvenile had taken her mother’s vehicle on January 6, 2024. The stolen vehicle was successfully recovered and returned to the mother. The mother expressed her intention to pursue charges against her daughter.

Consequently, the 15-year-old was charged with Theft and subsequently released to an adult guardian.
