Galveston County Law Enforcement Arrests Two Men in Separate Child Abuse Cases

GALVESTON COUNTY, TX – Galveston County law enforcement has arrested two men on separate felony warrants related to offenses against children.

In the first case, Alvin Rodgers III was arrested on July 31, 2025, by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit in the 4200 block of Paladino in Bacliff. Rodgers is charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of Young Children with a $250,000 bond. The arrest followed a June investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Galveston County Child Advocacy Center after allegations were made by two children.

In a separate case, Modesto Sanchez Jr. was apprehended on July 24, 2025, by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division. Sanchez was located and arrested without incident at 4200 W Bayou Maison Drive in Dickinson. He had two active felony warrants for Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact and Interfering with Child Custody. His bonds total $32,000.

Both men were transported to the Galveston County Jail and remain in custody.
