Four Teens Charged After Pursuit in Suspected Drive-By Shooting Vehicle in Spring

SPRING, Texas – Four teenagers were arrested or detained after Harris County constable deputies located a vehicle believed to be connected to a drive-by shooting and pursued it through the Spring area.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies located a white Mitsubishi Outlander on May 24 on Cypress Island Drive that was suspected of being involved in a drive-by shooting.
Constable K-9 deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and identify its occupants, but authorities said the driver fled, leading deputies on a pursuit that ended in front of a CVS pharmacy in the 24800 block of Aldine Westfield Road in Spring.
The driver was detained at the scene, while three passengers fled on foot.
A K-9 deputy immediately apprehended one of the suspects, while the remaining two continued running southbound.
Deputies established a perimeter and utilized K-9 and drone units to search the area. Authorities said the remaining suspects were quickly located and taken into custody.
Following consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the following charges were accepted:
- Juvenile #1, 16 — Evading Arrest or Detention in a Motor Vehicle
- Juvenile #2, 16 — Evading Arrest or Detention
- Brandon Gulley, 17 — Evading Arrest or Detention
- Juvenile #3, 15 — Evading Arrest or Detention and Deadly Conduct
Gulley was transported to the Harris County Jail. Authorities said his bond was set at $100 by County Court 10.
The three juveniles were released to the Juvenile Detention Center.
The investigation into the suspected drive-by shooting remains ongoing.
