Father and Son Arrested in Fatal Shooting on South Post Oak Road in January

Two suspects, identified as father and son, have been apprehended in connection with the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 16310 South Post Oak Road on January 25. Darrell Wayne Fletcher Sr., aged 55, and Darrel Wayne Fletcher Jr., aged 21, face charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, respectively, in the 400th District Court in Fort Bend County.

The victim, identified as Terrell Rodriguez, aged 57, was engaged in a confrontation with the two male suspects in the parking lot of a business at the above address when he was shot. The suspects, initially unidentified, fled the scene following the incident. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived but pronounced Rodriguez deceased on-site.

Following a thorough investigation, the Fletchers were identified as the suspects. Fletcher Sr. surrendered himself to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office on April 9, while Fletcher Jr. turned himself in without incident on April 18.
