Fatal Shooting in Harris County: Deputies Investigate Possible Road Rage Incident

In the late hours of Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a distress call in the 7500 block of W Sam Houston Parkway North in northwest Harris County. Upon reaching the scene, deputies discovered a black Chrysler 300, which had veered off the service road, approximately 300 feet from the roadway. Inside the vehicle, an adult male was found in the driver’s seat, unresponsive due to an apparent gunshot wound.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel were called to the scene, but the male was pronounced deceased upon their arrival. The responding deputies were unable to find any witnesses or gather information about potential suspects.

Following the incident, HCSO Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators arrived at the location to commence a thorough investigation. Initial assessments suggest that the victim might have been shot during a suspected road rage incident.
