Fatal Crash on Atascocita Road Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

A fatal crash occurred on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at approximately 5:50 AM in the 1200 block of Atascocita Road.

According to authorities, an adult female was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado westbound with an adult male and a juvenile female inside when a 2007 Ford Taurus, driven by an adult male, attempted a left turn into a parking lot. The Silverado collided with the right side of the Taurus, causing the Taurus to roll over. The driver of the Taurus was partially ejected during the crash and sustained fatal injuries.

The three occupants of the Silverado sustained minor injuries but declined treatment at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
