El Paso Police Investigate Fatal Shooting: 25-Year-Old Victim
In the early morning hours of January 28, 2024, at approximately 5:17 am, El Paso Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident at the 1900 block of Pointe East. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Efrain Martinez of El Paso, who was unresponsive at the scene. Martinez was transported to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel determined that he had sustained a gunshot wound. Martinez succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead.
The investigation is currently ongoing, led by the Crimes Against Persons unit, as they work diligently to gather evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
