El Paso Police Department Receives Grant for Traffic Safety Initiatives
The El Paso Police Department-Safe Communities has been awarded a $70,000 grant from State Farm through the Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grant. This funding will enhance the department’s efforts to improve community safety.
The grant will be allocated to initiatives targeting speeding, drunk driving, underage drinking and driving, distracted driving, pedestrian safety, and seat belt awareness. Funds will be used to purchase essential traffic safety equipment, camera systems, and educational materials to promote traffic safety and educate the community.
State Farm has been supporting the El Paso Police Department-Safe Communities’ traffic safety efforts since 2019, reflecting its commitment to community welfare and road safety.
This grant will enable the El Paso Police Department-Safe Communities to significantly impact road safety and strengthen its relationship with the community.
