El Paso Man Arrested for Murder After Woman Found Dead in Juarez

A 47-year-old El Paso man, Jorge Mares Raygoza, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the death of 45-year-old Coral Llamas Sifuentes, a resident of the Mission Valley area of El Paso. Sifuentes was found deceased in Juarez, Mexico.
The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons unit was contacted by the FBI on March 28, 2025, regarding the death investigation. Mexican authorities initially suspected the murder may have occurred in the United States.
Detectives met with Raygoza on March 28, 2025, and subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Murder. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a bond set at $1,250,000 by Judge Moore.
The death of Coral Sifuentes marks the city’s 6th murder of the year. Crimes Against Persons detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. The incident reportedly occurred in the 9400 block of Landry McKee.
