Drive-By Shooter Apprehended in Humble

On December 23, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a drive-by shooting incident in the 8800 block of Stagewood Drive in Humble. Witnesses on the scene informed authorities that the alleged shooter was in a Ford Focus nearby.

After a brief search, Constable Deputies successfully located and identified the suspect as 33-year-old James Stewart. Subsequent investigation revealed that Stewart had fired shots at two unoccupied vehicles.

James Stewart was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of two counts of Deadly Conduct. The bond for his release has been set at a total of $10,000.00 by the 351st District Court.
