After Reporting Burglary, Victim Finds Suspects; Two Arrested in Montgomery County

On December 20, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol Division responded to a burglary report in the 20000 block of Old Houston Rd, near Grangerland. The victim reported over $12,000 worth of property stolen from their residence.

Surveillance footage reviewed during the investigation captured two suspects making off with multiple tools and dirt bikes before fleeing the scene in a light-blue Kia Sedona.

On December 22, the burglary victim alerted law enforcement after spotting a matching vehicle with two individuals who resembled the suspects. District 3 Detectives arrived at the location and interviewed the occupants, identified as 38-year-old Shane Randal Null and 52-year-old Ronnie Eugene Rogers, both residents of Porter.

During the interview, both Null and Rogers confessed to their involvement in the burglary and provided crucial information about the whereabouts of the stolen property. The recovered items were subsequently returned to the rightful owner.

Following the investigation, Null and Rogers were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe. Null faces charges of Burglary of a Building and Possession of a Controlled Substance, with his bond set at $24,500. Rogers, a repeat offender, is charged with Burglary of a Building, and his bond was set at $50,000.
