Double Homicide Investigation Underway After Couple Found Shot Dead in Spring Home

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the deaths of a husband and wife found deceased from gunshot wounds inside their residence in the 4000 block of Fitzwater Drive. The discovery was made by a neighbor on Friday, May 16, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Patrol units with the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office initially responded to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they located the two deceased individuals. The neighbor who reported the incident stated they had heard gunshots in the area the previous night and, after not hearing from their neighbors, went to check on the couple.

The motive for the murders is unclear, and no suspects have been identified at this time. Identification of the victims is pending notification of next of kin.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide detectives are actively investigating the scene. Authorities are reviewing surveillance video from the area and seeking other potential witnesses.
