Disturbing: Galveston County Admits to Child Porn and Bestiality, Woman Also Arrested
SANTA FE, TX — A Santa Fe man is behind bars on multiple felony charges following a disturbing investigation that uncovered both child exploitation and severe animal abuse. Christian Armstrong, 30, was arrested on April 14, 2026, after a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 3700 block of Tower Road.
The investigation was spearheaded by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, triggered by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Multiple Felonies and Confessions
During the raid, detectives seized several electronic devices for forensic analysis. According to officials, Armstrong admitted during interviews to possessing child pornography and engaging in sexual acts with his dog.
Armstrong currently faces a combined bond of $360,000 for the following charges:
- Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography ($150,000 bond)
- Possession of Visual Material Depicting Sexual Assault ($150,000 bond)
- Bestiality ($60,000 bond)
Widespread Animal Neglect
While processing the scene, investigators discovered a significant case of animal neglect involving a wide variety of species, including ducks, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs, and snakes. Galveston County Animal Services assisted in the recovery and care of the neglected animals.
The homeowner, 51-year-old Megan Harvey, was also taken into custody. She has been charged with Cruelty to Non-Livestock: Failure to Provide, with a bond set at $1,500.

The operation required a multi-agency response, including the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, the Crime Scene Unit, and the Houston Metro ICAC Task Force.
The Sheriff’s Office extended its gratitude to its partners for their role in uncovering the digital evidence and providing the resources necessary to manage the large number of animals recovered from the property.
