Deputies Investigating Shooting of 13-Year-Old by Mother on Ranch Oak Drive

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A heavy police presence was reported in the 1000 block of Ranch Oak Drive after a 13-year-old boy was shot by his mother, according to Constable Deputies.

Deputies say the boy sustained a gunshot wound and was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. His condition has not yet been released.

The mother has been detained as investigators continue to process the scene. Authorities are asking residents to avoid the area while the investigation remains active.
