At around 4:00 p.m., deputies were called back to the same complex after receiving reports that individuals matching the suspect’s description were inside another unit. Deputies observed a female exiting the apartment, who was detained without incident and identified as Meagan Vargas, 32. A male subject, identified as Trennan Dillard, 25, was also found inside the unit and detained.

During the investigation, the complainant from the initial incident additionally reported a stolen Nintendo Switch gaming console. Deputies recovered the stolen device inside the apartment where Vargas and Dillard were located.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a burglary of a habitation charge on Vargas and a criminal trespass of a habitation charge on Dillard. Both suspects were transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center and booked without incident.
