Deputies Apprehend Wanted Felon in Humble Disturbance After Foot Chase

On December 17, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a disturbance call in the 7300 block of Foxbrook Drive in Humble. The disturbance reportedly involved a male individual who was not authorized to be at the location.

Upon their arrival, the suspect attempted to evade law enforcement by fleeing on foot. A brief pursuit ensued, leading to the successful apprehension of the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Fred Hernandez Martinez.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Martinez was wanted on an open felony warrant in Harris County for Burglary of a Habitation. He was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County jail.

In addition to the burglary charge, Martinez now faces charges of Evading on foot and Violation of a Protection Order.
