Deputies Apprehend Teen After Pursuit Following Stolen Vehicle Report in Spring

On December 30, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 19600 block of Holzwarth Road, Spring, TX. Upon arrival, deputies located the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Devin Taylor, refused to stop. Deputies engaged in a fast-speed pursuit of the driver.

Constable Deputies successfully stopped the vehicle in the 200 block of Blue Ash Drive, almost six miles from initial spot.

Devin Taylor was apprehended and subsequently arrested. He was identified and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. Devin Taylor’s bond was set at $7,500.00 by the 351st District Court.
