Dallas Police Makes Arrest in Hoke Smith Drive Murder Case
On May 14, 2023, at about 1:20 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Hoke Smith Drive. The preliminary investigation determined Carlos Gonzalez, 49, was shot at the location by the suspect, Lonnie Holcombe, 54, who remained at the location. Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injury.
Holcombe was arrested and charged with Murder.
