Convicted Felon Arrested with Firearm and Drugs After Traffic Stop

On January 29, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office carried out a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14000 block of Ella Blvd in the Cranbrook area.

The driver, identified as 35-year-old Charlie Sheppard, underwent further scrutiny during the stop, leading to the discovery that he was a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and a controlled substance.

As a result, Sheppard was arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The total bond for his release has been set at $80,000.00 by the 182nd District Court.
