Conroe Man Charged with Five Counts of Child Pornography Following DPS-Led ICAC Raid

CONROE, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigation Division arrested a Conroe man on November 5, 2025, after executing a search warrant in an ongoing child exploitation investigation.
The suspect, Sean Michael Lyon, 31, of Conroe, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with five counts of Possession/Promotion of Child Pornography, a first-degree felony. He was subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
The operation was conducted with support from the Texas Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Constable’s Offices (Precincts 2, 4, and 5), and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce.
Investigation Details
The investigation determined that Lyon allegedly utilized multiple social media accounts to download and upload Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Due to the content found on the social media accounts, investigators believe there may be potential victims Lyon could have been in contact with.
DPS emphasized that this case is part of its ongoing effort to protect children. DPS operates as a committed member of the Montgomery County ICAC Taskforce, coordinating with the Houston Metro ICAC Taskforce.
