Child Predator Caught in The Woodlands Area
On May 10, 2024, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s Detectives served a residential search warrant in The Woodlands. The search warrant stemmed from a Cybertip that led Detectives to investigate possible images of child pornography being downloaded and/or shared over the internet.
Detectives were able to determine that Michael Shawn LaFountain was in possession of hundreds of images depicting child sexual assault material.
LaFountain was charged with five (5) counts of Possession of Child Pornography and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
