Burglary Suspects Apprehended Following Theft in The Woodlands

On January 25, 2024, at around 11:30 a.m., deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to The Woodlands District 6 Patrol Division, responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary in the 4000 block of Technology Forest Blvd in The Woodlands, Texas.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the victim’s wallet, containing identification and credit cards, had been stolen from the vehicle. During their investigation, deputies received a notification that the victim’s credit cards were being used at a nearby Walmart. Swiftly responding to the situation, deputies located two suspects matching the description in the Walmart parking lot.

The detained suspects were identified as 22-year-old Robert Myers and 23-year-old Kayla Sutton. Both individuals were found in possession of the victim’s credit cards. Consequently, Myers and Sutton were taken into custody and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse against the elderly.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Myers had an active Pardons and Parole warrant, leading to an additional charge of Failure to Identify as a Fugitive.
