Burglary Suspect Apprehended After Foot Chase and Taser Deployment in Harris County

On January 21, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a burglary report at a pharmacy in the 14700 block of the North Freeway.

Upon arrival, deputies located the suspect, 32-year-old Rahkeen Jones, who attempted to flee on foot.

A pursuit ensued, during which deputies successfully utilized a department-issued taser to subdue Jones.

Following his apprehension, Jones was arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He faces charges of Burglary of a Building and Evading Arrest. The total bond for his charges has been set at $6,500.00 by the 182nd District Court.
