Body Found in Brazos River Confirmed as Missing Person
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office (FBCSO) has announced that a deceased man found in the Brazos River has been identified as 57-year-old Pengfei Yang, who had been missing since October 20, 2023.
On the 20th of October, the FBCSO issued a public release seeking assistance from the community in locating Mr. Yang, who was last seen near the 38300 block of FM 1093 in Wallis, Fort Bend County, Texas.
After an extensive search effort, Mr. Yang’s body was discovered in the Brazos River. The FBCSO is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent passing.
No further information has been released at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
