Big Spring Drug Bust Nets Two Arrests, More Expected
The Big Spring Police Department executed a major drug bust on October 24, raiding a residence at 2522 Dow around 10:30AM. The narcotics investigation had been ongoing for several weeks leading up to the raid.
Inside the home, officers discovered approximately 3 pounds of methamphetamine, over 2 ounces of marijuana, around 3 grams of powder cocaine, and over 2 ounces of THC concentrate. They also seized about $13,500 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
Two individuals were arrested at the scene – 41-year-old Dontee Donell Holliness and 41-year-old Renna Renae Booker. Both have been charged with Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, over 400 grams – a first-degree felony.
According to Big Spring Police Chief Chad Williams, the investigation remains active and open. He stated that investigators expect there to be additional related arrests in the future as the case continues.
