Bicyclist Arrested in Harris County Traffic Stop for Unlawful Carry Warrant and Drug Possession

On December 14, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a routine traffic stop on a bicycle in the 400 block of Highland Cross Drive. The bicyclist, later identified as Shaydjuan Ringo, initially refused to stop but was quickly apprehended.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Ringo had an open warrant for Unlawful Carry of Weapon. Additionally, a search revealed that he was in possession of 1.6 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and 0.32 ounces of Marijuana.

Shaydjuan Ringo was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. He is now facing charges of Evading Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ringo’s bond has been set at $1,000.00 by the 486th District Court and County Court 10.
