Bellaire Police Officer Arrests Man with Credit Card Skimming Equipment
On January 27, 2025, Bellaire Police Officer Oliver conducted a traffic stop that led to the identification of a vehicle linked to a credit card skimming investigation originating from Jersey Village.
During the stop, officers discovered four credit card skimmers equipped with cameras, devices often used to steal card information at gas pumps.
The driver, identified as Robert Napoles, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a criminal instrument/mechanical security device.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to address financial crimes related to skimming devices.
