Autopsy Pending: Houston Police Investigate Death of 18-Year-Old Woman Found Near Downtown

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results in the investigation into the death of an 18-year-old woman found last Friday at 1900 Nance Street in downtown Houston. The victim’s identity is yet to be officially confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Houston police Officers, investigators, and Harris County Precinct 6 Constable deputies discovered the woman’s body near the bayou while searching the area at the specified address around 5:40 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause and manner of the young woman’s death remain unknown pending the results of the autopsy.
