Austin Police Seek Help Identifying Woman That Uses Child as Decoy in Vehicle and Package Thefts
Wanted suspect(s)

The Austin Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a woman suspected of involvement in a vehicle and package theft incident that occurred at The Pearl Apartments in the 1300 block of West Koenig Lane.

According to authorities, the female suspect entered the pool area of The Pearl Apartments, accompanied by a 7-year-old child. The suspect allegedly used the child as a decoy while scouting the residents’ belongings. During the initial visit, the woman made off with a purse that contained keys and multiple credit cards.

The suspect, seen wearing a t-shirt with the words “Jessy and the Boys” on the front, initially left the premises with the child. However, she returned to the apartment complex later that same night, wearing different clothing and accompanied by two additional masked individuals.

During the second visit, the group stole the victim’s vehicle using the keys taken earlier, in addition to making off with various packages from the apartment complex’s mailroom.

The woman is described as a white female in her mid-30s with a medium build. She has a tattoo on her left ankle, which she attempted to conceal with a lavender-colored leg brace.

The suspect vehicle used in the theft is a white 2002 Toyota Camry.
