Assault of Child Leads to Arrest in Cypresswood Drive Apartment Complex
On November 22, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a distress call in the 700 block of E Cypresswood Drive, where an assault was reported. Upon their arrival, it was determined that a mother had allegedly assaulted her child’s friend by grabbing her shirt and dragging her, causing pain.
The incident was captured on home video surveillance at the apartment complex. Deputies were able to locate and identify the suspect as 53-year-old Lisa Donald. Subsequent investigation revealed that Donald had an open warrant for Criminal Trespass.
Constable Mark Herman stated, “Lisa Donald was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrant and charged with Injury to a Child. Her total bond was set at $7,600.00 out of the 486th District Court.” The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
