Arrest Made in Fatal Crash on West Tidwell Road, Woman Charged with Intoxication Manslaughter

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred at 1400 West Tidwell Road around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday (March 6). Tesa Teshea Hailey, 30, is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter.

According to reports, Hailey was driving a white Buick Verano westbound near the aforementioned address when the vehicle veered off the road, hitting a curb before driving onto the sidewalk and crashing into a fence.

Tragically, the front-seat passenger, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Following the crash, Hailey was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was found to be intoxicated. She was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
