El Paso Woman Arrested After Repeat DWI Offense Following Recent Crash

On September 7th, 2023, at approximately 9:27 pm, officers from the El Paso Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision on Pebble Hills Road. The incident involved a Silver 1999 Mercedes-Benz with Arizona plates, which collided with a rock in a roundabout.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers identified the driver as 26-year-old Elisa Adriana De La Gala from East El Paso. Ms. De La Gala was in need of medical attention and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. The vehicle sustained significant damage as a result of the collision.

A witness who heard the crash immediately came to Ms. De La Gala’s aid and stayed with her until the arrival of the Fire Department, expressing concerns for her well-being.

Following an investigation, the police determined that Elisa Adriana De La Gala displayed signs of impairment. As a result, she was arrested for DWI, 3rd or more offense, and subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
