Suspect Arrested for Burglarizing Vehicles at Houston Premium Outlet Mall

On December 12, 2024, a Lieutenant with Constable Mark Herman’s Office apprehended a suspect actively burglarizing a vehicle in the parking lot of the Houston Premium Outlet Mall, located at 29300 Northwest Freeway.

The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Kenneth Wortham, attempted to flee eastbound through the parking lot in his vehicle upon noticing the Lieutenant. He was stopped and detained without further incident.

A search of Wortham’s vehicle uncovered stolen property connected to five separate vehicle burglaries in the Cypress business district. Deputies recovered approximately $5,000 worth of stolen electronics, which were returned to the victims following the investigation.

Wortham was arrested and charged with felony Evading and felony Theft. He is currently being held in the Harris County Jail and awaits bond out of the 497th District Court.
