Suspect Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting on West 34th Street in Houston
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Micah Middleton, who was found at 6200 West 34th Street on November 15 at approximately 8:20 a.m. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Jorje Valles, has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the 351st State District Court.
Houston patrol officers initially responded to a vehicle crash at the location, where they found Middleton, the male driver, deceased at the scene. Houston Fire Department paramedics confirmed his death and reported multiple bullet holes in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that Middleton had been shot.
At the time of the discovery, there were no known suspects or motive. However, additional evidence and investigation led to Valles being identified as the suspect.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and charges were filed against Valles. On Monday, November 25, Valles was arrested without incident by HPD SWAT and Northwest Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team officers. He was booked into the Harris County Jail.
