Former Montgomery County Detention Officer Arrested for Sexual Assault
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has confirmed the arrest of former Montgomery County Detention Officer Eliazar Vasquez following an investigation by Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Division. Vasquez has been charged with Sexual Assault, a second-degree felony.
The criminal and internal investigations are ongoing, and upon completion, will be forwarded to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Vasquez, who was off duty at the time of the incident, was taken into custody by the Montgomery County Deputies and is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Vasquez has been terminated from his employment at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
