Arrest Made in Assault of Two Females at Houston Apartment Complex
Nicholas Ford, aged 20, has been arrested in connection with the assault of two females at 3435 Walnut Bend Lane around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14th. Ford faces charges of aggravated assault of a family member.
The victims, aged 25 and 21, were transported to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
The Houston Police Department (HPD) received a report of the assault at an apartment complex located at the aforementioned address. Upon arrival, HPD patrol officers discovered two females outside an apartment with injuries, while a male suspect had barricaded himself inside the apartment. The Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to the hospital for medical treatment.
In response to the situation, HPD SWAT officers arrived at the scene and established a perimeter. Nicholas Ford, the suspect identified later, was apprehended by SWAT officers shortly after and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a laceration to the knee. He was then charged for his involvement in the incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
