Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Alief Area on Kipp Way Dr and Sam Houston Tollway

Houston police are currently investigating the fatal shooting of a male discovered at 10301 Kipp Way Drive in the Alief area around 8:50 a.m. on Sunday, February 4th.

The identity of the victim is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to reports, HPD patrol officers were alerted to a deceased individual near the mentioned address. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds lying in a grassy area near the intersection of Kipp Way Drive and the West Sam Houston South Parkway service road. The Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

As of now, authorities have not determined a motive for the shooting, nor have they identified any suspect(s).
