Violent Altercation in North Houston: Woman Attacks Male Holding 2-year-old Child with Knife

On January 21, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance in the 14000 block of Ella Blvd in north Houston. Upon arrival, they detained 22-year-old Bria Searcy, identified as the suspect.

Further investigation revealed that while the victim held a two-year-old child, Searcy attempted to cause harm by swinging a knife towards him. The victim, in response, put the child down and was subsequently assaulted by the suspect. Additionally, Searcy assaulted another female victim at the scene.

Bria Searcy has been arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault. Her bond has been set at $12,500.00 by the 263rd District Court.
