Shoplifter Arrested on Kuykendahl Road Found with Crystal Meth and Black Tar Heroin

On December 21, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a shoplifting incident in the 21150 block of Kuykendahl Road in Spring. The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Summer Smith, was apprehended upon their arrival.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Smith had engaged in the unlawful act of switching price tags and attempting to pass through all points of purchase. Additionally, law enforcement found an open felony warrant for her arrest, related to Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.

During the arrest, Smith was found to be in possession of multiple syringes containing a narcotic, Crystal Meth, and Black Tar Heroin. Subsequently, Summer Smith was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail. She now faces charges for the felony warrant and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
