Man Wanted in South Central Houston Shooting

Houston police are currently investigating the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man that took place at 3244 Reeves Street on Saturday, November 4, around 3:25 p.m.

The identity of the male victim is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to reports of a shooting at the specified address, where they found the victim unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that a small group of family members were outside the residence engaged in a game of dominoes when an unknown black male, wearing dark clothing, approached them and had a brief interaction. The individual then walked away, only to return moments later, firing multiple shots at the victim from behind. The suspect retreated to a white Chevrolet sedan parked nearby, entered the passenger side, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is currently described solely as a black male.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the case to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
