FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — A former private school teacher and soccer coach has been arrested on a Harris County warrant charging him with the continuous sexual abuse of a young child, law enforcement officials announced.

Thirty-two-year-old Lewis Stott, of Seabrook, was taken into custody on Friday, August 7, 2026, at approximately 6:16 PM by officers with the Friendswood Police Department. He faces a felony charge of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child.

Abuse Alleged at The Galloway School

The arrest warrant follows an investigation conducted by the Friendswood Police Department into allegations of sexual abuse reported to have occurred between 2020 and 2026.

During that period, Stott was employed at The Galloway School, located at 3200 W. Bay Area Blvd. in Friendswood. Throughout his tenure at the school, Stott served in multiple capacities, including physical education teacher, substitute teacher, second-grade teacher, and soccer club coach.

No-Bond Detention and Search for Potential Additional Victims

Following his arrest, Stott was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he is currently being processed and held with no bond.

Because of Stott’s position as an educator and his extensive access to children across several grade levels and extracurricular programs, investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.

The Friendswood Police Department urges parents and guardians whose children may have interacted with Stott to speak with their children. Anyone whose child discloses information, or anyone with relevant details concerning the investigation, is asked to contact the Friendswood Police Department directly at 281-996-3300.

Department officials stated that no further information will be released at this time to protect the privacy of potential victims and maintain the integrity of the active investigation.
